Can't pick just one. Here's some that quickly come to mind.
88-89 Regionals at Belleville East. Kahoks prevail in two close wins. Bench jumps when Pace hits 3 - pointer, picture hits cover of game program the following year.
3/1 Belleville East 67 65 W
3/3 Althoff - Belleville 41 38 W
95-96 Conference game at Fletcher. Kahoks come in with two early conference losses. Lancers come in hot, thinking they have chance at conference. Andy McFall has inbounds steal and 3-pointer right before halftime and Kahoks go to the locker room with a huge lead. Big, BIG win proves SWC still our house.
1/26 ยบ Belleville East H 74 43 W
97-98 Sectionals at SIUE. Kevin Asbrock throws in 3-pointer from way beyond half-court, makes ESPN. Edwardsville fans go home unhappy, season done. Followed up by overtime loss to Lincoln Tigers (with Darius Miles) in their final season as a school.
3/10 Edwardsville 40 39 W
3/13 Lincoln - East St. Louis 55 60 L (OT)

The 1965 state championship game, against Quincy, will always be the game I will remember most. This was just my second year on the bench with Coach Fletcher.
97-98 Sectional victory over Edwardsville is by far the most satisfying victory. 2 previous double digit losses to Edwardsville made the Kahoks a huge underdog. In a brillant coaching move, Coach Bone employed a box and 1 using 6'0 Jeff Rhymer to frustrate and shut down 6'6 divison I recruit Jon Harris. The best part was seeing Jon Harris in mid-celebration under the basket with his backed turned as Kevin's shot banked in, he then turned around to see the mob scene as the celebration was on. The victory would have been satisfying against anyone but Edwardsville, that makes it a little sweeter.
1992 Win at Centralia....they had to take down America's Winningest Team sign...5 minutes after the game was over....We claimed the title briefly. The DARK AGE of Kahok basketball: post 1996--has us buried behind Centralia forever. 0-7....WOW.....oh how the mighty Kahoks have fallen
East St Louis Lincoln over at the Edwardswille Sectional....
Final Collinsville 92, ESL L 82
High powered...exciting...and the most difficult to leave due to ESL Lincoln "fan" reactions after the game
Went on to the Quarter Finals w/ opportunity to play against Thornridge (arg)

That 72 game against the Lincoln Tigers was quite a contest. I remember the Lincoln "fans" causing a lot of damage to parts of Edwardsville High that night. As a result,Lincoln was denied membership in the SWC the following year and Edwardsville refused to hold post-season tournaments for a long time.
